Corneal Topography, as the name might suggest, is an imaging technique used to map out the curvature of your cornea (the front, clear part, of your eye).
This is of significant use in cases such as:
- Prescribing and fitting hard/gas permeable contact lenses
- Diagnosing and monitoring corneal conditions such as Keratoconus
- Investigation of astigmatism for contact lenses and before cataract surgery
- Measuring the shape of the cornea allowing custom made night lenses to be ordered in the treatment and management of myopia
